Heidi Alderman is the former Senior Vice President, Chemical Intermediates at BASF Corporation, retiring in 2019 after a 30+ year career in the chemical industry.  She previously held executive roles in Petrochemicals, Procurement, and Functional Polymers at BASF. Ms. Alderman began her career at Rohm & Haas Chemical Company and Air Products & Chemicals holding various positions in business, operations, research, procurement, product and marketing management.  Heidi holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Drexel University; she also completed the Wharton Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania. She has served on the boards of Olin Corporation and Champion X Corporation and currently chairs the People & Culture Committee at BWC Terminals.
